KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 21 (Bernama) -- Amanah Saham Bumiputera (ASB)
unitholders will receive a dividend of 7.75 sen per unit for financial
year ending Dec 31, 2012 compared with 7.65 sen last year.
The 7.82 million unit holders, who currently held a total of 110.2
billion ASB units, will also receive a bonus of 1.15 sen per unit.
Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB) chairman, Tun Ahmad Sarji Abdul Hamid,
said the income distribution portion involved a total payout of RM8.13
billion while the bonus portion RM712.21 million.
"In fact, this is the highest payout for the past five years since 2008
until 2012, seven sen in 2008, 7.30 sen in 2009 and 7.50 sen in 2010,"
he said to reporters at the ASB income distribution announcement here
today.
Up to last Wednesday, he said, the scheme registered a gross income of RM8.54 billion.
